Santyna Brar (she/her)

Santyna contributed to our lab as a Master's student in the Queen's Occupational Therapy program (MScOT). 

She graduated from Queen's in 2018 with Honours and Distinction, majoring in Biology. She has completed over 300 hours of clinical placement, assessing and treating mental health difficulties at Hotel Dieu Hospital's Child & Youth Mental Health Program. She is proficient in working with complex data and conducting analyses such as multivariate modelling. Her research interests include the impacts of labelling emotions, biopsychosocial factors, and spirituality on mental health and suicide risk in young people. Her hobbies include volunteering for KidsHelpPhone, engaging in spiritual practices, and singing/song writing.
