Katelyn Battad

Katelyn completed a 5-year biopsychology major at Queen's. She started in the EMBody Lab as a SWEP student in the summer after her 4th year, and stayed on as a directed lab student for the 5th year, completing an independent project on affective film stimuli. She is passionate about all areas of psychology but has grown a particular interest in understanding the basis of suicidal thoughts and behaviours in youth. She is especially interested in how we can apply research findings to improve outcomes in clinical settings. Outside of the lab, you can find her on runs down at Fort Henry or having paint nights with friends.
