Jay Burns (he/him)

Jay is in his fourth year at Queen's, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Statistics. In the EMBody Lab, he is writing an Honours Thesis on effects of maternal psychopathology on preschoolers' cardiovascular responses to reward. Before joining the EMBody Lab, Jay worked as a lab coordinator for the van Anders Lab and published a review paper on hormone therapy and trans sexuality. He is interested in how early adverse experiences and bio-sensitivity affect neurodevelopment and socioemotional functioning. Outside of research, he enjoys walking his dog, reading, and knitting.
